At De Kemphaan, we specialize in technical textile finishing. Our expertise includes the precise (laser) cutting, stitching, and packaging of various and heavier materials, from PVC-coated fabrics to high-performance fibers such as Dyneema®, Kevlar®, and Nomex®.

Our added value lies in our extensive machinery and our collaboration with our own die-cutting department for leather, plastic, and rubber. This enables us to work flexibly and efficiently, regardless of the complexity of your project, from prototype to serial production.

TARPAULINS

Custom-made tarpaulins for all your protection needs. Our machines provide precise cutting, stitching, and packaging using equipment such as the cutting table to cut textiles up to 3.10 m wide.

Screening walls

For high-quality screening walls, we use our machinery, including the long arm sewing machine, to achieve the desired results.

Thermal welding
PVC coated textile

For durable and weather-resistant solutions.

Our equipment for thermally welding PVC coated fabrics ensures seamless connections and durability.

Plastic covers

Custom protection for your equipment and materials.

We use our sewing machines to stitch raw materials (leather, plastic, rubber) up to 3 cm thick, for strength and robustness.

Plastic sheeting

For plastic sheeting in all possible shapes, we also use our advanced CAD digital cutting machine and our special sewing machines to provide custom solutions.

Insulation materials

Our (milling) machines and equipment enable us to process insulation materials to size, hem them, bind them, and provide them with textile labels.

water-resistant applications

Waterproof zipper

Waterproofing is not just about the fabric. It lies in the combination of material, closure, seam construction, and stitching thread, and we master that entire process.

Our production includes:

Dyneema® Composite Fabric, X-Pac, TPU, and PVC-coated fabrics

For waterproof constructions, fabric seams are taped or welded where necessary.

For closures, we choose the right solution for each application: roll-top systems, YKK AquaGuard zippers, or specialized waterproof closures.

specialized technical fibers

In addition to waterproof applications, our sewing workshop processes fabrics that protect against cuts, flames, extreme heat, or ballistic impact:

Kevlar® and Twaron®

para-aramids for bulletproof vests, cut-resistant gloves, and PPE

Nomex®

flame-resistant fiber for firefighting equipment and protective workwear

Technora®

heat and chemically resistant para-aramid for industrial and maritime applications.

Dyneema®

a premium brand of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), known as the world's strongest fiber™. It is 15 times stronger than steel, yet light enough to float on water.

PBO fiber (Zylon®)

for the most demanding cut and heat protection applications

Spectra®

UHMWPE fiber for rope and protection applications

Cordura®

robust nylon fabric with high tear strength for military equipment and tactical bags

Neoprene and coated fabrics

for flexible industrial covers and maritime confection

Carbon and glass fiber fabrics

composite reinforcements for industrial constructions

AUTOMATED laser cutting machine

The versatility of the SM-300-TA, combined with automatic grippers and a powerful vacuum system, enables precise and efficient cutting, even with difficult-to-handle materials such as tarpaulins and delicate textiles such as silk and cotton.

With adjustable lengths (3,000 – 19,000 mm) and widths (1,500 – 3,700 mm), the machine meets specific customer requirements.
